Where We Started
Founded in 1994, Robinwood Activity Centres provides 3 day, 2 night residential courses for 7-11 year olds. Based across 3 beautiful centres in Yorkshire, Cumbria and North Wales, Robinwood focuses on making a really positive difference developing children through adventurous and themed activities.
Over the years, the company has evolved to create what we believe is the Ultimate Timetable. Typically, it involves 15 brilliant activities across the 3 days, all emphasising the importance of fun, development, and safety.
Our famous Piranha Pool is an activity that was developed by our staff team over 20 years ago and is one the children are guaranteed to remember for a long time to come. The piranhas of Robinwood have become so legendary in schools that have attended that it’s the first thing the children ask about when they meet their Group Leader. Between dodging piranhas, gliding down our zip wire and hitting gold in our archery range, we aim to have something for everyone at Robinwood.
We believe in investing in the very best staff to deliver all that we offer, and as such, we have held Investor in People Gold Accreditation since 2013.

Always looking to the future and striving to improve in whatever way we can for both our customers and our staff, Robinwood is proud to announce that it became an employee-owned company in November 2024.
